Welcome

Hello, my name is Martin McSweeney and I offer private tutoring designed to prepare students for admission to competitive colleges. I provide:
  • math tutoring
  • test preparation (SAT and ACT)

While I typically work with high school students, I have also successfully tutored homeschool students from 6th through 12th grades. College students and returning students of all abilities are equally welcome. Here is what some of my students have accomplished.

Sessions are conducted in a private study room of the Central Library in Huntington Beach, California. I mostly tutor one-on-one. However, I can tutor up to two students at a time for math, thereby lowering the rate per student.

Once students have met with me for the introductory session, they can contact me via phone, text, and e-mail free of charge for math questions.

My FAQ pages should answer many of the questions you may have. Please contact me if you have further questions or would like to get started.

As a convenience, I now accept payments online through PayPal.

Thanks for your consideration.

- Martin
